I look for ward to obtaining a copy of your book, as having read extracts you appear to have a pragmatic approach to developing your EI, which I am sure will appeal to many. There is too much "science" surrounding EI at the moment and lets face it, EI is not rocket science and we all have the ability to develop it for the benefit of not only ourselves but others or as my old school moto said "non sibi sed aliis".

As a middle aged, beer drinking, rugby playing, educated professional - I can assure your readers that there is nothing "fluffy bunny" about me - but - having embarked upon the path of developing my EI, I am reaping the benefits through all areas of my life and noone can quite work out how.

You and readers of your blog may be interested to have a peep at www.being-ei.org for more information on leading an active Emotional Intelligent life.

Good luck with your forthcoming publication and I hope our paths will cross again soon.

Kind Regards

Thanks, James. You're right, it's not rocket science, although some people try and turn it into an arcane subject :-) I believe in the common sense approach and what 'feels' right at the time. I've had a look at your website and it's very interesting - very much in tune with my own beliefs, which you'll see if you look at my website - www.janewharam.com. I look forward to more conversations in the future! Do you have a Twitter presence? We could follow each other there too.
